Macrocheles robustulus is a fast-moving soil predatory mite that works effectively even at low temperatures. This aggressive predator can hunt in groups, allowing it to tackle larger pests.
Use
Release the predatory mites onto the soil immediately upon arrival. There, they actively search the soil for cocoons, eggs and young larvae. Macrocheles robustulus prefers a moist soil environment.
This predatory mite can be used both preventively and curatively.
The mites are bred in our own facility and supplied in packs of approximately 500 individuals.
500 mites are sufficient for:
10 m² preventive control
1 m² curative control
Effective against:
Eggs, larvae and pupae of fungus gnats (Sciaridae)
Springtail larvae
Thrips pupae
Fruit flies
