How do wool pellets work?
Wool fibers absorb water and slowly release it back into the soil. As a result, wool pellets act as a natural water buffer. This helps plants during dry periods and reduces the risk of dehydration.
Additionally, the fibers create more air in the soil, allowing roots to grow better and absorb nutrients more easily. Because the wool breaks down slowly, nutrients are released gradually. This provides plants with long-term nutrition without the need for constant re-fertilization.
Composition of the wool pellets
Our wool pellets are made from 100% Dutch sheep wool that would otherwise be lost as a residual product.
