Yellow mustard is a fast-growing annual plant. Very suitable as green manure.

Row distance 30 cm. For seed production (to make the most of it) sow in April, then harvest in September. When sowing in March through August: mow the plants before they set seed. When sowing in September, the plant will normally no longer be able to produce seed. In winter, yellow mustard freezes to death. Sowing density: 20 kg/ha.

75 g of yellow mustard seeds, approximately 150 seeds per gram.

Sow March–September in rows 30 cm apart, approximately 20 kg/ha. Mow before seeds form; sow in April and harvest in September when seed production is desired.
