Soya bean Edamame ‘Chiba Green’ is an early and productive variety with compact, upright plants. The large pods contain three seeds each which mature simultaneously, making an efficient harvest possible. Depending on the season, the cultivation period takes 75 to 90 days. ‘Chiba Green’ soja beans have a wonderfully large size and a delicious taste that comes to its own when eaten freshly steamed. The beans can easily be dried for later use.

Plant spacing: 30x10 cm
Soil: Suitable for all types of soil

50 g of ‘Chiba Green’ edamame seeds.

Sow May–June at 30 × 10 cm and harvest August–September. Pick edamame about two weeks before full maturity and steam fresh; beans can also be dried.
