Parsnip 'Tender and True' is easy to grow and can withstand quite a lot. Be careful in cloudy weather: contact with the plant can cause burns. Pentecostal tubers, or parsnips, used to be a main ingredient of hot meals, later supplanted by potato and carrot. The tubers resemble carrots, but have a white colour. Parsnip Tender and True is easy to call, requires little fertilizer and can tolerate quite a bit of frost.
Cover in place from April to mid-May. With a row spacing of 35 cm, thin out the plants in the row to 10 to 15 cm.
