How to use the pheromone trap:
Hang the trap close to the boxwood hedge.
For preventive use, hang 1 trap per 100 m2 to 200 m2.
For active control, hang 1 trap per 20 m2. As our Belgian colleagues from BioGrow say, the more you hang, the more you catch.
What is a pheromone trap?
The trap uses the female pheromones of the boxwood moth. This attracts the male moth. When the boxwood moth ends up in the trap, the moth remains trapped and can no longer fertilize a female. The trap only attracts the male boxwood moth and does no harm to other insects.
