Cutting celery 'Ordinary Cut' is a widely used kitchen herb. This has somewhat coarser leaves everywhere, but is much less susceptible to leaf spot disease. Cutting celery tolerates shade and can be cut several times.
Annual, height about 35 cm. Can be sown as early as April, but germination time is long. At higher soil temperatures, germination proceeds considerably faster. Maintain a row spacing of 20 cm and thin out in rows at 15 cm. Because continuous regrowth one can cut the same plants for months. The fresh leaves can be used in various dishes.
