Turnip 'Mizuna' is a fine Japanese leafy cabbage and has a loose head with pinnate leaves, light green with a light vein. Delicious as a stew or raw in a salad. Turnip greens are a typical spring vegetable. In the summer they shoot easily, but not anymore in the fall. Can be sown in a cold greenhouse from February and in the open ground from mid-March to August. Too little fertilizer can cause yellow leaves. Yellow leaves can be eaten normally. Delicious as a stew or raw in a salad.
Harvest: after 6 weeks (height 10 to 15 cm).TIP: also suitable as babyleaf (sowing period: March-August)!
